Sarah's Hope

If you are looking for a worthy organization for which to pray or donate money or time (for those of you who are local) during this Lenten season, Sarah's Hope is a great choice! Established in Wichita, KS, Sarah's Hope is an organization that promotes life and gives support to pregnant women.

According to Tony Stutey, director of Sarah's Hope,

"Throwing a lifeline to a woman in a crisis pregnancy situation: that is what we do.
How? By airing beautiful, superior quality, tasteful 30-second TV advertisements.

Why TV? It works!

TV commercials have been credited for reducing abortions in other states. Respect life/respect women TV ads have been able to help reduce abortions by 46.6% in Michigan, by 35% in Missouri and in Colorado (since they started in 1997) by 40%.

Nearly 88% of women seeking abortions in the U.S. are between 15-34 years of age. Women 15-34 spend an average of 25.5 hours a week viewing television. Each of our commercials addresses women where they are.

If you could save someone’s life, would you? Of course, you would!

Let me make this perfectly clear, you are now being given the opportunity to do so. I am inviting you to save hundreds and thousands of babies’ lives right here in Kansas. It’s entirely up to you!

All it takes for evil to persist is for good people to do nothing.

Therefore, to do nothing is not an option.

There are over 50 Crisis Pregnancy Centers in the state of Kansas. Unfortunately many women about to have abortions don’t even know that one exists.
The good news is that whenever we air pro-life TV ads in Kansas, calls to the
1-800-848-LOVE # (which is shown on the commercial) increase 2, 3, 4, and 5 times in number.
Sarah’s Hope is filling a need which will only be able to continue with your help.

TV commercials have been credited for reducing abortions, but the truth of the matter is people who paid for the ads were the ones who really accomplished that goal, by power in their faith in God’s truth not to return void.

In the right to life movement you above all else represent a voice. You represent a segment of humanity that has no voice and you speak for it. You see that the decision of the value of human life is actually made in the public mind. So this is where your voice must be heard and you must be compelling. You are a voice. We seek to add an amplifier to that voice and turn up the volume!

You are being asked to make a significant difference in Kansas. Please consider sending a meaningful contribution, which will not only save the lives of babies, but also give women real help, open minds and convert hearts.
Your continued assistance is very much needed, so the numbers of abortions in Kansas will continue to go down.

As Paul said in Romans 14:7, “The life and death of each of us has its influence on others.”

You can make a difference.  Sarah’s Hope Foundation is an inter-denominational Kansas pro-life group based in Wichita that will make a difference only if you help.

Our mission statement:
To promote as truth the value and dignity of every human life from conception until natural death through education in the mass media."

May God bless you,
Tony Stutey

For a few years now my older boys have been volunteering for Sarah's Hope, helping at the booksales by organizing, cleaning, and assisting customers.  They all agree it has been a very rewarding experience, knowing they are helping save the lives of the most innocent.
