Keepsakes by Carrie: a Review and Giveaway

Recently I was blessed with the opportunity to choose a set of 8 holy cards from Keepsakes by Carrie, also getting them laminated and personalized.  You can take a look at the beautiful holy cards Carrie offers at her etsy shop and her Facebook page.  She recently added new designs to her shop as well.

A few of the many holy card options include The Infant of Prague, St. Anne and our Lady, and the Song of the Angels, all pictured above.

I was so excited when I saw her beautiful holy cards!  My oldest daughter Moira will be receiving her First Communion this January from her uncle, so I decided to let her choose the holy card design. She picked the same one I was going to choose anyway. :)

Isn't it beautiful?!

Here is an example of what the back of the personalized holy card may look like, although Carrie will work with you to alter it as needed.

Carrie made the entire process so easy; I simply emailed her the personalized words on the back of the card and that same day she sent me a template to look over and approve.  Besides my daughter's name and information about her First Communion, I also chose to include the "Anima Christi" prayer and the following aspiration:  "Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, be my salvation.".

We received the cards very quickly and are so pleased with them!  I plan to keep one for my daughter and have her include the other holy cards with thank you notes to anyone who gives her a First Communion present (and to her uncle, of course).  I am so excited to have these beautiful holy cards to honor our daughter's First Communion!

Keepsakes by Carrie has generously offered to give one of my readers here at Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam one sheet of 8 holy cards.  The winner will get to choose the holy card design from Carrie's selection, personalize them, and have them laminated--a perfect opportunity to create your own keepsake for that special memory.

I thought the giveaway of these beautiful holy cards would be a great way to honor the Feast of Christ the King, (which is celebrated on October 25 on the traditional calendar this year).  The giveaway will run through November 9, and I will contact the winner by email on Tuesday, November 10.

  2. I love the idea of Sacrament cards. My dad still has his mom's from her 1st Communion in 1936. You chose well! The Divine Mercy 1st Communion one is also beautiful.
